if a foundation employee is calling you, other than to set up logistics of what was agreed to with the chancellor/president/regent, you're not.

I want other people to give to make A&M good at football, but I honestly cant think of a bigger waste of money than giving money to a state funded institution. They get tax money, grants, still charge ever increasing tuition (often for degrees that they know have no value) to build buildings so they can hire employees to fill the buildings. All so they can appear higher on a list of research/academic expenditure which will allow them to draw down more funding. Whole system needs to be stripped down to the studs.

Why, to date there has been a 0% return on their investment. We have no SEC or national championships to show for all the money spent. Spending more does not mean those will come especially when you consider they are already having to pay off coaches that got fired and in the next 12 months will likely have to do it again with other coaches on this staff that are not getting it done.

Just for the record I can proudly say I have never and will never give a dime to any player for NIL how many thousands/millions have you donated so we can be "more aggressive with NIL"?

My brother works for a company that was owned by a BMA. Has a building on campus named after him. Unfortunately the 2 generations that followed him didn't go to A&M and now they run the company. They don't give money to A&M anymore (at least not in large sums), but they did just give like 30 million to tu for their athletic department to build a nutrition center or something (not NIL). Its disappointing.

So he wasn't good at parenting.
