Anybody have one of these? Looking for suggestions, I see the price range is all over the place. Not sure where to start. Features to look for?

Looking for a ~60" for our basement build. I figure today might be a good day to pick one up.. even though we haven't started framing yet

I have one similar to that, hooked up to natural gas. It puts out some good heat and is great for helping heat my living room when it's cold. I wouldn't get one that's just cosmetic. Get one that puts out some legit heat, and don't hang a TV over it.

we aren't doing gas, just want electric. This is our basement, not our main living room. They all seem to put heat from what I can tell.

Why no tv over it? That is exactly our plan lol. We don't want a piece of furniture there.

Dumb question, but that's just a digital display then right?

I'm a real wood kind of person. I don't get electric or gas fireplaces.

But to each their own…

yea that's all it is. They are only 4" deep. We don't want to reduce the size of floor footprint at all. So no real fire place, even a gas one is several feet deep.

I have three of these in various sizes and they look great and work well: R.W.FLAME

Depending on the level of heat it can ruin a TV over time. Having a mantle between the TV and fireplace (like you have pictured) can help alleviate some of that.

yes we plan to have a floating shelf between, just for a picture or two and a sound bar.

are any of them wifi/bluetooth, so you can use your phone for control?

I think that is a feature I want; I just know the remote will get lost.

There is not an app for those but there are controls on the front under the flame area.

Do you have any amish farms within wagon distance?
