GB, need you to tell me about this place

Good places to eat, see, experience… all of the above

I hear skiing and snowboarding resorts are pretty far away

Good hiking spots?

She said, don't bother comin' home
By time you get here I'll be long gone
There's somebody new and he sure ain't no rodeo man
He said, I'm sorry it's come down to this
There's so much about you that I'm gonna miss
But it's alright baby
If I hurry I can still make Cheyenne
Gotta go now baby
If I hurry I can still make Cheyenne

Bad news for you if you're interested in seeing escalators on your trip... There are only two in Wyoming and both are in Casper.

I go through there twice a year to see family in Cody.

If we spend the night it is usually at Little America.

The dining at Little America is pretty decent.

The breakfast is my favorite meal there.

Albany Restaurant is a must, greatest prime rib you'll eat anywhere. Restaurant has been around since 42 and is favored by the locals. Wife and I always stay at The Historic Plains Hotel which makes you feel like your back in the 1900s. Love Cheyenne with all its Old West History. We live an hour away in Nortern Colorado and would much rather go to Cheyenne than Ft.Collins or Denver.

Medicine Bow Peak is one of my favorite hikes. It's a bit of a drive from Cheyenne but well worth it. Not crowded like most good hikes in CO are and magnificent views. Probably too much snow up there to hike the peak this time of year but there should be some good trails in the Medicine Bow range.

We always stayed there on trips to Wyoming when I was a child. Grandma (of blessed memory) loved the place.
