NATIONAL COOKIE DAY

Wednesday it is……

• No gym, slept in
• Rainy, misty day in the "Sparkling S-hole by the Sea"
• Roux in the oven for gumbo Friday
• Contractors got shower/tub tile in, may start on cabinets today

- Got up early to drink 32 oz of water by 7:45 so I can go get a magic seeing eye wand shoved into my vaginer to see if my ovaries and kidneys are behaving.
- I'm cold!

Oh no, this is because I'm pretty sure my ovaries were on the verge of exploding a few days ago. And now they're hurting again from the ultrasound wanding. Being a woman is hard.

Well, either way, I hope everything turns out okay

Went to the doctor for check up and get blood drawn.

Nurse actually found a vein in my arm. Most of the time they have to draw it from my hand.

Refilling prescriptions.

Three meetings this morning. Busy so far!

Afternoon should be a little more clear. Only one meeting scheduled but plenty of other things to do.

My half Czech grandma called them kolaches, so I will call them kolaches

Caffeinated with hot tea.
Power walk along the Turia River.
Eggs, toast, and fruit for breakfast.
It rained earlier, Now it's a beautiful day to be outside.
Ran errands and did some Christmas shopping.
Had a huge loaded baked potato for dinner.
Watching Spy/Master on Max (recommended).

We don't have a place to get kolaches up here.

Sixty years ago my younger brother and I would often spend the night with my Czech grandma. Don't ever recall her making kolaches but she always made fried chicken for breakfast that I swear KFC stole her recipe. Best breakfasts ever.

- BIL started a fire earlier today without opening the flue, lolol. Set off fire alarm and he didn't know why until my sister got home and called me. Soot everywhere. Whoops!

They are an interesting couple.

You have no idea. I wrote down this convo the other day while they were watching some reality show. I hope they never leave bc living with them is entertaining.

BIL: Trash! TRAY-YASH!
Sister: You're trash!

..A few minutes go by..

BIL: ::mumbles something I can't make out::
Sister: Look, you can't jump into the 6th season of a show and start asking me questions.
BIL: But WHAT is all over her FACE?!
Sister: She's doing her makeup! It's contouring!
BIL: What is that?!
Lana: Oh my God! She's going to rub it in!

..A few seconds of silence..

BIL: She sure cries a lot..
Sister: DUDE SHUT UP!

Aaaand the hot water heater is leaking and my floor is flooding. Super yay. Much fun.

If the water is hot why do you have to heat it?
