TMI but as someone who had a circumcision done as an adult because of some of these issues, it is not a myth. It is hands down healthier and cleaner. I did not want my son going through what I did so there wasn't a second thought when they asked if we wanted him circumcised.

It is very much for health and sanitary reasons…as are many religious traditions
