26 degrees walking the dog this morning. Snow predicted for the weekend. Couple of good signs on the job front, but nothing concrete yet.

A brisk 3F when I went to get my coffee at the gas station this morning. I went out yesterday and bought ice melt for the car. I need a new plastic shovel for the car, but Ace Hardware was all out. Said they'd sold 300 shovels during the storm.

I am ready for a long, cold winter (once I have a shovel for the car, that is).

- Just below freezing, and this should knock the remaining leaves off trees.
- Good day to clean out the garage
- Looks like Thursday-Friday might get nasty in the brush country

I understand why my kid gets another snow day today (my street is still unplowed), but this Alternate Methods of Instruction (AMI) stuff is a joke. Yesterday counted as a school day, and Benny did all of his assigned work in under 20 minutes. Today will count as another school day.

It's win/win. He (and school staff) doesn't have to go to school, and he doesn't have to make up the day. It's like someone has forgotten that the entire point of school is that he should be receiving an education.

UPDATE - Only assigned work today was from his counselor; watch a two minute and six second video on what credits you need for graduation. An absolute joke than any of his teachers are bring paid for this.

-Slept better last night but still not enough.
-Luckily mom got released in the AM and I'm back in CS.
-Picked up meds, few groceries and headed to live at her house the next week.
-Taco Bell for lunch
-Hopefully a nap. (Well didn't sleep but did rest)

-Hopefully evening gym class
