Stopped and filled up my truck on the way in to work.

Waiting on the snowstorm to hit.

Schools are closed up this way.

Try to peddle some tires.

Ready for the fun drive home tonight and again in the morning.

The weather people really suck at their jobs. All the hype and then, nothing yet.

I could really use a nap right about now.

Slept long enough but surfed all over the bed or something. Usually I barely move.

No precipitation yet. That's good.

Stomach bug going around my wife's building. She's hoping to avoid that. I'm also hoping she avoids it.

Getting stuff added to my to-do list today. Hurray.

Dog walked.

• Gym done - surprisingly few "New Year Resolutioners"
• Finally taking down the Christmas tree
• Jaw not sore from dental work. Thank God for female dentists with small hands……good looking lady, also.
• Getting supplies for stock show chili cook tomorrow.

Ortho with the oldest so he won't have a fugly smile. He chose the maroon color for his braces this time. I never had braces. This **** is expensive. No hotties in this office. Don't know about the size of hands. Take him back to school then probably **** around at home until it is time to go to his basketball game this evening. Unless it gets canceled because of the weather. Apparently this team has a carpet court that isn't full size. So it's not going to count - Nate Bargetze. Yay for Private Christian school basketball!

Drove Benny to school this morning for the first time this week. Scary as hell driving around a high school with sketchy winter road conditions. Expecting 2" to 4" of snow tonight, so I'm sure it's back to learning from home tomorrow.

I'm thinking Notre Dame beats Penn St soundly tonight. I fear Bevo squeaks one out tomorrow though.

I helped get this guy home last night. I've had some good ones lately.

SMH at all the hand-wringing in Texas over weather. And enjoying bright sunshine and mid-30s temps today.

Far fewer cars on the roads, but they are all in the left lane going slow.

As long as it's snow and not ice, there's nothing to it.

And if you go into a skid, counter steer-opposite direction of skid. Of course, since in Texas everybody either slams on brakes or accelerates wildly when in a skid, the advice is probably wasted,
