No. But I like that idea (except for the social media presence part).

Wild. Very similar to a story someone shared in my Aggie FB group some years ago about how he went on an international trip with a girl he had just started dating.

Did this once in Australia solo on R&R after working for a year straight.

The immigration guy at Sydney airport asks where i'm headed and where I'm staying.

Said I didn't know yet.

This was the wrong answer and apparently warranted further screening. Made me convince him that I had money, a return ticket and was not planning on illegally immigrating.

Go. Last year my wife interrupted me from my "important work" one night and asked if I wanted to go to Italy a few months later. I kinda brushed her off and said we could look into it, let me check my calendar. She left but came back in a few minutes and said she was going to Italy, did I want to go with her. "Yes Dear" is always a good answer I have found. We had a great time and because of the deal she had found on flights, our entire trip was about the cost of one rount trip ticket at normal price. In January, I learned of an opportunity to go to Galapagos to do a service project and get some time to explore the islands while there. Two days later I was signed up. Both trips out of the blue.
