• got the kids off to school and no work for me today because Monday I got "restructured" out of a job
• home and looked at email and offered a job interview, we shall see
• help mom out at her house, doing God only knows what
• batting cage late tonight with Son 1
• not sure what else the day has in store for me, but really enjoying the time off

• So so tired. Slept maybe 4 hours.
• It's pretty darn cold out.
• Cannot believe they are having a high school softball tourney in this weather. But it is what it is, and we head to Clear Lake today.
• A few meetings. Clean out my inbox.
• Freeze my ninnies off later.

-it's currently -10 and I forgot to put the trash out yesterday. The walk down the drive really sucked
-Busy morning full of meetings
-I've got 450 applications and portfolios to sift through this afternoon
-maybe a hot pocket or two for lunch
-Looking forward to The 4 Nations Hockey Final tonight, USA V Canada. Even if you don't like hockey, it should be entertaining. When they played on Saturday there were 3 fights in the first 9 seconds.

• Woke up with a tremendous headache. In my previous Texags life, it would have because of drinking the night before; now it's just due to being old.
• Breakfast tacos this morning to try to feel better (not sure about that logic, but it was an excuse to get them)
• First follow-up appointment yesterday after all my procedures last year, and every part of my bloodwork came back within normal ranges for the first time in a long time.
• Completely over the cold weather

-6F when I woke up this morning, but the sun was already up, and it is a cloudless day. I love sunshine on fresh snow cover. And speaking of days, they are getting longer and longer. Going to warm up to 15F today, the upper 20s on Friday, and then the melting starts on Saturday.

34 degrees with moderate snowfall here in along the Wasatch Front. Snow plow just came by because snow is a fact of life here.

Yep. We'll hit 39-40 and melt this stuff. It is heavy and slushy, more like spring snow we get in late March.

I had maybe 8 oz of water yesterday and 3x as much diet Coke so that is very likely the cause.

You gotta take care of your body a little better than that.

One Diet Coke and maybe 60oz of water would be a better ratio.

TERRIBLE EXCUSE INCOMING:

It's because it's too cold to go to the gym and that is when I usually drink most of my daily water intake.

Disgusting weather for February

Not really. Enjoying the cooler weather before summer.

I love cold weather. Doesn't get cold enough in Texas for my liking but I can't convince my wife to move north.

We were a little past Waller when they canceled the softball tourney. I'm happy and sad. Love watching her play but it was pretty miserable outside. AND it allowed me to come home and lay down during lunch.

Had to cancel my iPhone order that was gonna pickup in Baybrook and luckily the hotel let me cancel without penalty. I do think we will play here in town now at 1PM tomorrow, Still gonna be cold, but at least its 2-3 hours in the cold and not 5 hours.

I got tired of the cold weather in Texas and moved to Arizona 2 years ago. Everyone likes different things so I hope you get to a colder place.
