I figure we need to be in the 15-20 range, so this is fair. Let some other team carry the weight (or perceived weight) of the number one ranking.

With our non-conference strength of schedule (which will be very weak) and the grind that is the SEC, getting into the top 8 and landing a national seed will be a tall order. Not saying we can't do it...just saying it is going to take some near flawless baseball from here on out to overcome we have put in our way thus far.

The reality check the team needs. They need to remember they will ultimately be judged on end of year results. People will quickly dis-remember the slump after success.
GOOD. Actually I think thats a little generous right now, but they will be back in the top 5 before too long.

As Luke states, big hole to dig out to get to top 8 by season's end. Super tough to do, but team needs to just focus on next opponent and game.
A drop in ranking is legit, but now tu ahead of them. Think they'll play better chasing vs. being chased (different type of pressures).
One doesn't make a streak, but hopefully they can start a streak or two going foward (fingers crossed bats are starting to awaken across the lineup). The have 6 games to hone it in before Bama.
