- On a plane to San Antonio for a conference shortly.
- Back home tomorrow night.
- Forgot to put on deodorant. Dammit.
- Dresses like a middle aged woman with my dress and tennis shoes.

Prayers for continued improvement!

• Woke up at 4AM, but then dozed from 5:30-6:30.
• Got a ton of work done over the weekend, and it felt great going into this week knowing that I just have 2 items to work on, and then start taxes. I *thought* I was 100% caught up last night when I went to bed (which has not happened in probably years), but then I remembered this AM I have 2 text messages that want quotes. I'll get those done this evening.
• So maybe, just maybe, my tax person will get my stuff more than a week before the deadline.
• Whataburger for breakfast. Leftover Chinese for lunch
• Only a few meetings today. Working through some emails.
• Pitching lessons for kiddo tonight.
• Maybe late dinner with kiddo?

Am grateful for the slight warmup outside. While I don't mind the cold, sitting in 30 degree weather for 2.5-3 hours watching sports is pretty darn chilly.

Fall of my fish year in the Aggie Band we sat in 32 degrees and freezing rain in Fayetteville, Arkansas. What made it worse was we got blown out 28-0!

Just got back from a long weekend in Galveston.

Great visit with my mom. And we went to a great birthday party yesterday that featured live music and a nice spread of snacks and a lot of people my mom had not seen in ages.

The boy and me swapped all the old hardware out for new hardware on mom's home security and smoke detection/CO detection system. The boy updated all the locations and set up the system for her this morning. She was happy about that.

Made great time on the road.

Hit up La Familia for tacos as soon as we got to town. The boy didn't want any because he got a brisket sandwich at Buc-ee's in Waller.

Saw a trailer of duct work lose a big piece of duct and nearly cause a pileup when it got caught under and 18 wheeler and caused him to stop and get on the shoulder suddenly.

For those of you keeping track at home, I lost 4.4 pounds in my colonoscopy prep. Worst part about the procedure itself was ripping the tape off my arm from the IV bandage. Best nap I've had in years.

You need to use a place that doesn't use duct tape for the IV.

And that nap is amazing. When the anesthesiologist told me she was going to give me "Jackson Juice" to knock me out for one of my scopings. I said "is that safe?"
