Was going to post this. It is even unintentionally funnier when a bit later when Leia says "Aren't you a little short for a storm trooper" to Luke. Apparently being a tall storm trooper isn't all that great.

Something in Smokey and the Bandit always bothered me but don't find it mentioned anywhere. The sound made when he is peeling out on dirt is the sound you get on asphalt.

Exactly. But for some reason the plot doesn't apply this logic to Old Biff.

In Back to the Future time travel, it takes a while for the timeline to catch up after something has changed in the past. It's not instantaneous. In the scene you're talking about, when he returns to 2015, he is in clear pain after exiting the time machine because he is disappearing. This is clearer in an extra scene that was cut.

It was remastered to remove the reflection in newer releases and broadcast/cable. I was very disappointed when they made the change.
I can tell you movies consistently make blatant errors with airplanes and firearms. I can't even think of specifics because it's so common.
In Dances With Wolves. In the big Buffalo hunting scene….you can see large electrical towers and transmission lines in the far background of the plains.

In this scene in The Big Lebowski, the blue Beetle tailing him makes a left turn but should have been a right turn based on the right turn that the Dude just made prior.
In La Bamba, after Ritchie's death is announced on the radio, the station plays "a selection in honor of the dead". The song is Sleep Walk by Santo & Johnny. Ritchie Valens died in February, but that song wasn't released until several months later, hitting the charts in August.

In Elf, when "angry elf" Miles Finch throws Buddy against the wall, one of the pictures on the wall falls to the ground. Then in the next shot, that picture is miraculously back hanging on the wall.

In Ocean 11 there's a scene where Brad Pitt is casually eating a shrimp cocktail while talking with George Clooney. It cuts a couple times and goes from being in a martini glass to on a plate to back in a martini glass. I noticed it even as a kid so maybe they left it in semi intentionally. There's some sort of lore associated with how Brad Pitt is constantly casually eating in those movies I think.

Remastering a movie to clean up photography is one thing. Remastering it to tweak a plot or character is another. I am far from a Star Wars fanboy, but I think it sucks that they changed the cantina scene in Star Wars when Han Solo shot Gredo. I liked Han Solo's character better when he was a bit thuggish.

I noticed that too as a kid. His character eats in every scene, kinda funny.
The iron in the background of Forrest Gump when he first meets his son.. down/up..
Back to the Future. Watch the M&M jar on the shelf. It gradually goes down because the crew kept eating them throughout shooting the scene.

They address it in the Big Bang theory. An infinite number of universes are all running at the same speed. Old Biff got back to his original 2015 and either because Marty was successful in stopping him thus no change to the space time continuum or was able to travel prior to the effect taking place in his current continuum. It is the hot tub time machine issue all over again.
