Warm day in west Georgia/east Alabama.

A good day starts with good coffee.

Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of humankind is up to.

Edit to say that Autumn begins at 2:19 PM Eastern today. Our local temps remain mid 80-ish.

I got hit up for money at BreakTime this morning as I was going in to buy my morning coffee. I didn't have any cash. The store manager came out and told the beggar to "move on." He said no. Apparently they raised the price of Fireball (convenience stores sell liquor in Missouri), and he wasn't leaving until he had enough to buy a bottle. She called the cops on him. I find myself wondering how that turned out.

Other than that, my morning has been quiet.

EDIT - Was curious what our hours for selling liquor in Missouri are. You can buy liquor here from 6:30 AM to 1:30 AM. Wow.

All good, except aesthetics-wise that living room looks rather sqwushed. And security-wise, the water coming right up is great for daytime but you have to get a little dog so frogmen can't sneak up while you're sleeping. Vigilance requires us to be always on our toes, anymore. Actually, sleeping in shifts would be a good idea (so if the little dog barks someone will be awake so the alarm won't be tragically unheard. Have a good rest of your vacation.

I've seen too many frogmen assassins in James Bond movies.
