• I'm really liking having my fiance living at home and the kids are huge fans of her too
• Ten days left until I transfer to another org and there's post-it notes all over my desk with stuff I need to reassign to other people
• It's a weird sort of feeling, like it's almost summer vacation coming up except I'll just be working at a nearby site that's a lot busier
• Time to go be Ms Popularity by handing out meeting notices so I can explain stuff I managed to other people

Dreamt I was riding a monorail from Lot 51 (the one by Zachry) to Kyle Field. The line continued to the Bush Library. The line was low, barely above the trees. Lot's of fun to ride. I've had a few dreams about a monorail on campus (queue the Simpson's song).

Drove Benny to school this morning only to learn that it's an in-service day. He could have slept in. Strange, it isn't Election Day here, and there's another in-service day a week from Friday. Oh well...

Not voting today because I don't have a comprehensive understanding of the candidates or their real intentions.
Otherwise a beautiful warmish day in west Georgia/east Alabama.

Took my parents to the airport for their trip to India. It was tough to leave the house as we are selling it. That might have been the last time they set foot in it. All that said, everyone handled it well and they are off. I will miss seeing them but especially my mom.

Now I need to build a guest house in my back yard for them to live in when they come back.
