My parents have TWO sets of these in cream leather. I hate them so much. 7 buttons on the side for leaning back, raising foot rest, and the lumbar support.

Why anyone likes this is madness. Just use your GD legs! I Hate having to wait for it to close so I can stand up.

It's so ridiculous it makes me angry.

My aunt had a couch. She called it "Davenport" and you weren't allowed to sit on it.

She also lived in a house with a creepy basement and even creepier attic. Yeah the entrance to it was in the room I had to sleep in.

Surprised no one in this thread mentioned humidity. Your house is more humid in the summer months than in the winter months. When you hop out of the shower you start to air dry and you feel the evaporative cooling effect. In cold dry months the effect is greater so you feel colder.
