Nice and cool out this morning on the mean streets of metro College Station.

Grocery store run for Thanksgiving week in a little while to beat the Sunday rush. We are hosting so we need to start getting stuff ready.

Ugh, have lots of work to do. My Outlook app tells me I have 34 unread emails. My OCD regarding a notification free phone screen and low inbox numbers for my work email is really kicking in.

A cooler morning in west Georgia/east Alabama.

Coffee, church, lunch, reading this afternoon.

A good Sunday starts with good biblical readings. Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of humankind is up to.

-Up early for an 8am softball game
-Beautiful day. Currently losing - hope we can turn that around otherwise back to College Station we go.
-Already got 45 min of travel work done. Lots more to go.
-Lost my money at Delta Downs last night. Boo.

Texas And Holleman HEB was a breeze this morning.

Guess what? Headed home from Beaumont.

Least I'll have most of the day at home. House is clean and tidy, so will enjoy that while working. Lots of travel work and maybe even a massage.

Benny hates Windows 11. He says that the performance of his games has plummeted since "upgrading" from Windows 10 a couple of months back.

He's going to install Linux Mint on his machine. He's never used Linux before. I love Linux. I've used it for 30+ years, but this isn't going to go well, and I don't want to be involved. I'm on-call for work today.

Hoping I can stay out of Benny's soon-to-be mess and can watch football today. Also hoping this fog breaks. Visibility is currently 1/4 of a mile. Yuck.

I was at a retreat/leadership training event a few years back. Higher-up next to me set his phone down after responding to a text and was grumping about it. I looked over at his screen and his email icon showed 17,734 unread.

Pretty sure several from me are in that number. He's not great at responding to emails.

I was meaning the state of Oaxaca since we really aren't near anything. I guess the closest place is Puerto Escondido

Watching the Chiefs game being played 119 miles west on I-70, and there isn't a cloud in the sky. Meanwhile, here in CoMo.

She's cooler in person. I went on a camping trip with her and her husband one year up in Montana. They used to live in Glendive and I was in Billings at the time.

Aww! We had so much fun camping up there. We went to Fort Peck, right? I think... maybe... lol

5.5 hours of travel work done. Should have been more but didn't want to get carsick.

Now rewarding myself.

Ah yes! I remember now! Fort Peck was our normal camping fishing spot, but I know we did some lakes around that area too (and Tongue River Reservoir a few times, as well as a few ND lakes)
