I'm curious to see what off-campus bonfire is like. The first time I ever drank liquor was at Bonfire '87. I was in 10th grade, but my older sister was at A&M. She and my future BIL provided me with cheap whiskey and cherry RC. There I was, 15 years old, holding a bottle of whiskey, and watching one huge fire. But I remember pickup trucks with kegs in the back on them. No one batted an eye at any of it. In '93, I came across a guy relieving himself in the mud during the speeches. I'll never forget that. That's like something you'd see in South Louisiana.
I suspect it's a lot "cleaner." Probably a higher mix of people who worked on bonfire (this year or in the past) and not so many drunken revelers.
And I too would love to see a live stream of it.
