Another cool, overcast day in west Georgia/east Alabama.

A good day starts with good coffee.

Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of humankind is up to.

I'm a morning person, but not in a talk-to-other-people-before-noon type of morning person.

Just raised my thermostat from 72F to 73F. That should raise my office/MBR temperature from 70F to 71F. I have two windows in this room, and I can feel the cold when I walk by them.

• About 5-6 hours of sleep - I'll take it.
• Busy day today. Several meetings, about to type up some work.
• Go to the heb during lunch to get stuff to make an iced coffee bar for my studnets and gift cards
• Kahoot game for my students this afternoon. It's the last class day.
• Travel work tonight. This month has already started off strong, which is crazy for Dec.

Hope they would be putting you up somewhere to live - cause SO MANY hotels are sold out, and even "decent" ones are all over $500+. Vancouver too.

Oh, I didn't realize it played in multiple places. I know it's happening in Seattle and Vancouver.

It's spread across 16 cities in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Both Dallas and Kansas City are host cities but I only signed up for KC.

I've made it past the first two cuts so far. They started with 26K applications for KC alone nd are down to 11K. They will eventually whittle that down to about 6K. I'll know in February if I am offered a spot.


The interview tonight went really well and the guy said he thought I belonged on the KC chamber of commerce for good of a spokesperson I was for the area. I'm hoping for a Team support or fan experience spot
