Windy as crap today. Drove Benny to school in a NW wind gusting to 47 mph. Felt Lubbock-like. No haboob though.

Watched "Catch Hell" last night. It had been on my DVR for months. A disturbing movie set in the bayou outside of Shreveport (do they have bayous that far north?). Sick and twisted, but I rather enjoyed it.

The sun is currently 22.97 degrees south. Here in Columbia, MO it rose this morning at 7:17 and sets this afternoon at 4:47. The days will get still a little shorter, but that's thankfully the earliest that the sun will set.

Nice, warmer sunny day in west Georgia/east Alabama.

• Glad its work from home today cause I got hit by my daughters pitching at the top of my foot last night and it's very sore and swollen. Luckily I don't think it broke anything but it sure as heck hurt. It was probably around 50-54 mph when it hit.
• Travel work this evening.

Trying to figure out where to travel the week after Christmas. Gave my daughter the options of:

• Cruise (this may be hard - they keep selling out)
• Knoxville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg
• Colorado Springs (this has been scratched - realize she has been there and done most the things I listed)
• Added: Salt Lake City

We shall see what she decides.
