Listened to football on the radio yesterday while doing errands and chores. Turned out to be a better plan than attending the game or watching on tv.

Two landfill trips yesterday.

We have new towels so I took all the old ones to the animal shelter so they can dry dogs after baths.

Goodwill trip as well.

Didn't want to be up this early but my body said "hey, get up."

Gopher in the back is avoiding the traps thus far.

• Never watched a single play of the game. Son in Law was playing "Minecraft" on the TV…..
• Dinner at the Republic, Candlelight Christmas concert, then a bay view room night at the Omni this evening

Rainy, foggy cool morning in west Georgia/east Alabama. Church was very good this morning preceded by coffee hour.

A good Sunday starts with good coffee.

Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of humankind is up to.

- Too warm outside for a fire in my fireplace.
- Neighbor keeps bringing me food, which is so sweet, but he forgot that I can't eat pasta and I can't tell him now that I've accepted two of his pasta dishes. Damn. I hope he doesn't bring more.
- I should throw some Christmas decorations up since Christmas is happening at my place but it's so much worrrrrrrrk to bring everything down from the attic and then put it back up there. I don't wanna!

Have you had a celiac sprue blood test, or an endoscopy to check for celiac?

Are you lactose intolerant? Maybe it's a creamy sauce on the pasta causing the issue?

Congratulations to our women's volleyball team in sweeping Kentucky in THEIR house to bring the hardware home to College Station for the first time ever.

Amazing work by our women here. I didn't start following admittedly till a few weeks ago admittedly but hoping they don't mind about that as they did their time in trenches first.

Yep, I was too focused on football to know how good we were doing in volleyball.

Showed up and showed out. There was no question as they dominated the field. I'll admit I got a lil misty eyed at watching them celebrate. What an awesome life defining moment for these young women wearing the Maroon and White (well, black in this case).

They will remember this forever. Definitely worked really hard to get this.

It was mid-30s when the dog and I took our little walkabout, but not much wind.

Shortest day of the year today. We had 9 hours and 27 minutes of possible daylight at 38.91 N. Days start getting longer tomorrow.

Been watching the NFL today and went grocery shopping earlier.

Lucy Cat's skin has scabbed up in several places. It's a lot like what happens to my skin when it gets so dry in winter. I can't put lotion on a cat though. I don't know if the vet can do anything for her, but I'd better have Lucy looked at this week.

On vacation again tomorrow, so I'll be up late tonight. Need to find something good on the DVR.

Thank goodness this day is over. Sunlight starts increasing tomorrow.
