• 28 degrees this AM in the home of the Cowboys and Rangers
• Nice 4 mile run this AM to close out 2025 running season. ALMOST hit 700 miles for the year. Need to do better in 2026
• I am making chili today
• Will finish binging House of Guinness today
• I may sweep
• Being a house husband is a lot more work than I thought it'd be. Preparing her lunches takes some planning.
• The puppy is really tormenting the older dogs

-Sitting in the Knoxville airport.
-$44 for 2 Quiznos sandwiches, Diet Coke and water. Stupid.
-Was gonna do Ruby Tuesday's but their "breakfast" menu had like 3 things and all were terrible.
-Ready to be home. Really hoping I'm just tired and not getting sick.
-Travel work when I get home maybe after a nap.
-Not thrilled with the plane - it's a little ERJ with no wifi. Only 2 hours but blah.

• Slept late. Keeping up with Morty will wear an old man out.
• At 64 years old, I still like leftover pizza for breakfast. Air fryers were made for this
• Making omelets for Morty and B-1 83 Daughter
• Doc's for dinner, then Candy Cane Lane this evening

Sunny and 13F this morning on our way up to 38F this afternoon. Lucy Cat's skin has been scabbing up in a few places, like it's drying out, and I'm taking her to the vet this afternoon to be looked at. Vacation day tomorrow.

Stayed up late chatting with the boy.

Woke up thinking it was Saturday. Was immediately disappointed it is Tuesday. Then remembered I'm off this week. That was refreshing.

See what's going on with breakfast.

We got some sleet yesterday. Or some graupel, which I never heard of until last year.

Fluffy stray cat I saw lost week showed up again yesterday. It seems well fed if it's a stray.

Good guitar lesson last night.

Took Lucy to the vet today, and it was her last day. She's retiring. That's no good, I've used her for 12 years, and she's outstanding. Now I have to find a new vet.

How do you feel?

Sorry for any confusion. Lucy has a few places where there are small scabs on her skin. The vet says she has a skin allergy. In October, she had me give Lucy steroid pills for a couple of weeks. It didn't help.

Today Lucy got a steroid shot. If she's not healed in four weeks, I have to put her on a prescription cat food via the Internet. As I'd much rather have Lucy Cat keep eating store food (Iams), I have my fingers crossed that today's shot did the trick.

Ugh, I need to go outside and get the mail but I don't want to put pants on.

Good. Think I was just tired. Don't feel bad at all

bought 2nd grandkid vehicle (can't post pics because I am too cheap) but made a good buy and all seem to be happy
oldest daughter is having issues, but we are blessed
