I want that snow in Missouri!! We're currently forecast to get a "light accumulation."

I was in the Arkansas Ozarks once after a 5" snowfall. I was surprised how ill-prepared they were for it. The Ozarks get snow every winter. I wouldn't go out in it if I were that far South.

Shelves nearly empty ay WalMart Market in Texarkana (Richmond Road).

Seeing lots of grocery store updates ahead of the predicted snow.

Here is the Tractor Supply update:

- all out of propane

- last bag of deer corn just sold

- hay truck looks 85% empty

- and the crowd around the faucet protectors looked like the Black Friday scenes of yesteryear

I made friends with the guy carrying a chainsaw and we got out just fine.

Our ranch is on both sides of the border between Ark. and MO. We've had 14" before since we moved here. They have always been well prepared for it in our area. They keep the roads open really well even though we are very rural.
They are predicting 12-14" here. Lows at -3 Sunday night. We are as ready as we can be.

We're apparently expecting an ice storm this weekend in Charlotte. I have prepared by ordering Diet Coke, microwave burritos, and paper towels for delivery.
