When there are two right turn lanes, can the inside turn lane turn right on red?

This is the situation at the the south bound Highway 6 frontage road at Briarcrest and also at Harvey Road and Texas Avenue. I'm sure there are several others around.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but since we were discussing unusual traffic situations in another thread recently, I thought I'd ask.

Here's the Harvey/Texas intersection:

Something being legal isn't the same as it being necessarily a wise decision. At an intersection like that it's sometimes more difficult to tell which lane the perpendicular traffic is in and you don't really know what the person on the right of you will do. Guy in the far right lane they also be trying to turn right on red and if you go at the same time there's always the possibility he doesn't keep his lane because people don't seem to understand when you turn you're supposed to stay in your lane.

I did Voice to Text for that and for some reason it changed some of my words into ebonics. It makes me sound cool so I'll keep it.

Sigh… yes. Unless you are in the US Virgin Islands where people drive on the left side of the road.

In countries that drive on the left, do they turn left on red?

Is there a sign that says "no right turn on red"?

If yes, don't turn. If no, turn at will.

I design traffic signals and slept at a holiday inn.

In Wash DC almost every right turn at intersections say, "no right on red"

Because they are the worst drivers in the universe

If you can't see any police then you can turn any direction from any lane, just do whatever you want

just realized how much traffic law ive forgotten the other day. Dont know if its cause im getting old, or just been in a small town too long.

Actually, most right-hand drive countries don't have a right turn on red.

For some reason I had to retest a couple years ago. It was surprisingly easy compared to how much parents and the coach who taught Drivers Ed built it up back in high school.
