Took the birds out, teaching the young ones coop recall
and they are doing pretty well.
Having this many chickens is wild. But I love it.
Watching the game in a bit.
#1 has baseball practice at 5:30

Stupid cat woke me up at 4:15.

Did some paperwork.

Went grocery shopping.

Ran some miles.

Should do something productive but probably won't. Not looking forward to doing my taxes tomorrow.

Anyone have any idea what this is?!?! It's inside the rent house cabinets. Mostly in crevices.

Like what on earth. And it smells but it sure it's the curry smell. Almost like a very strong French onion smell



Maybe it was some kind of glue that absorbed the food smell? The seem to run in pairs.

I'm not making fun or sticking it, but did yall seriously not detect that stank before buying?

When we were house shopping we had 3 distinct homes that were obviously from an Indian/middle eastern home that we spent less than 20 seconds in bc it was baked into everything

I had an employee whose clothing and backpack smelled like curry. Always.

Have a co-worker in another group that comes in with clothes that smell like curry to the point I think they might be cooking in the closet.

That stuff is unmistakable.

As for the stuff in the crevices, maybe some kind of bug poison/bait that you squirt in crevices so it's out of the way but also along a path they would travel?

-Iced coffee for breakfast
-Haircut and a beard trim
-Getting a new passport photo now
-Few errands afterwards
-Have fun out there folks!

Yes. It didn't seem terrible. And I was told an ozone machine would get the smell out.

Obviously that wasn't the case. It is definitely better than what it was. Having to get to the root of the problem is taking a long time, but I think I have most things done.

I can tell you that I never will buy a house that smells again though.

One thing a lot of people don't realize is an ozone generator requires a constant supply of fresh oxygen to work properly, so if you run one for a long time, the amount of fresh oxygen in the room diminishes and it produces less ozone. Whenever I've had to run an ozone generator for more than a couple of hours, I connect a shop vac hose to the intake and run the other end to a window.

I've always wondered about your obsession with wrestling. Did you wrestle in school?

Went to bed earlier than normal

Woke up thinking it was time to get up. It was exactly 12am. Went back to sleep

A few chores this morning. Then some errands. Then met my wife for late lunch/early dinner at Marfa Texas Kitchen. Pretty tasty

We got some rain. Not a lot but we will take it

So I'm pretty sure what I posted earlier was some kind of cabinet glue. My guess is over the years. It just turned dark and absorbed whatever the smell was. Essentially, they were in the exact same spot in every cabinet.

Currently, I'm shampooing the carpets. After this, I really don't have anything else to clean. I still smell it, but I mean it is what it is. But it's rented. I may try to use the ozone machine one more time now that I essentially feel like I've gotten to the root of all the original smells in the cabinets.

When you are at the rent house and you don't have any silverware or plates or anything, you drink wine straight out of the bottle and have some Kroger sushi to go with i.

And yes, I drink cheap wine. Don't drink cheap liquor, but I drink cheap wine.
