Old classmate and brother of a good friend of mine wants to chat today. He's in the Netherlands. Not sure what's going on. Haven't heard from him in years and hope it's not a request for cancer advice.

Weather is supposed to be dark and stormy later.

Have to be on high alert to make sure Nervy doesn't try to steal the Schipperke!

We got a new roof in December. I scoured the driveway and yard for roofing nails after roofers left. Wife found one in the driveway earlier this way. I got one stuck in my shoe this morning. Thankfully not in my foot. My theory is they were stuck in the nearby tree and the wind blew them out. I can't figure out where else they would come from.

• Exhausted. I slept okay, woke up a few times. I may just have to nap.
• Whataburger 44 oz diet coke - its what's for breakfast
• Starting travel work. Need to be very productive.
• Maybe nap
• Rent house to work on cleaning tile grout. Yay.
• Go look at a house for my momma at 3PM.
• Really want to nap now but must first get a Texager a quote.
• Watch Aggie sports on the tube

Hoping to get some good rain today. Do the day.

Last full day in Mazatlan. I definitely would come back here although it is not as well known as Cancun or Puerto Vallarta.

I enjoyed my 6 days there but we only left the resort once and it was outside of town. So I didn't really get to "see" much of it. I do want to go back.

Currently eating a $1.50 hot dog and coke at Costco, the last good deal in America.

Laundromat, gas station, Dominos, Target. Errand running isn't so bad on crutches... until I get home and have to go up two flights of stairs.

Well considering it made a move towards my husband when we was using the weed eater, the weed eater got used on it.

I started watching Euphoria. There's so much dong in the show!!

• World premiere tonight of my composition for band "Ad Astra Per Aspera"
• Playing bass trombone in the above concert, which is the most demanding bass trombone set in my 18 seasons with them. I get to lay it down in the basement with some pedal Es and E-flats.

Currently sunny and 54F. We've topped out for the day. Will be in the 30s tonight. One of the last cool days of spring.

Lots of errand running this morning. I'm pretty good on crutches. Benny had to carry everything, but we got it all done. And I've gotten pretty good at climbing stairs with one foot and putting lots of weight on both handrails. Pretty sure I'm going to need surgery. Will find out Monday, but I'm feeling better about living upstairs while my knee recovers.

EDIT - Going to the grocery store tomorrow. Going to stick with my crutches and eschew a motorized cart. Benny can handle the shopping cart.
