A rainy Saturday in west Georgia/east Alabama with mild temps and much needed moisture because somebody near me in the county likes to burn their trash on sunny days, seemingly oblivious to this thing called wildfire.

Went to bed too late. The boy got into town around 8:30. We had both already eaten so we went out to hear some live music and visit. It was a nice evening.

Woke up too early. Gonna need a nap.

Taking the boy out to a nice place for dinner. Gonna go get us some tacos in a bit.

Orange cat is currently demanding pets. He will give a little nibble on the forearm if I don't comply. Bossy beast.

The puppies and kitties were very excited to see their boy last night.

-Exhausted. Got home from playoff softball at 11:45pm. Promptly left to go get Whataburger for my kiddo.
-Awake at 6:50 AM.
-Headed back to Cypress for the night payoff game.
-It is hard being a pitchers parents sometime.
-I feel bad for most of the girls as it's prom day. Hoping they win so at least they are in good mood heading back to town.
-Travel work later. And a nap.

Dog walked, skipped breakfast. Waiting for my state inspection. Work out. Lunch somewhere, yard work this afternoon?

Outside Indian wedding in Keystone here in a little while. I'll have thermals on under my traditional Indian attire. I'm old enough now to be an "elder" so my wife and I are on the front row. Short ceremony, though; not one of those muti-hour deals that it could be.

Afternoon off, maybe a walk. Cocktail hour at 5:00 and dinner afterwards. Should be a fun day. The altitude here is 9200 feet so I need to keep drinking water to avoid headaches.

Only Indian wedding I've been to was three hours long. It was brutal.

The food was good afterwards though!

I slept until 8:40 and only woke because my phone was ringing. Its cold AF outside but I'm still watering the grass because its not dying on MY watch.

Someone bring me CFA chicken minis.

It's been years since I've had it but I liked it.

King William Fair, so pretty much the apex of Fiesta drunkfest here in SA. Nursing a damn good bloody Mary on a dog walk.

About the only day of the year we drink like total degenerates. It's kinda the olds version of Mardi Gras.

- then I got to put together 2 vanities from IKEA.

Should have made the two vanities a race between two teams for the project party.

• Up at 7 to take my husband to the airport
• Made some Vietnamese 3-in-1 to switch up my coffee routine
• AirBnB was surprisingly clean after having two small children in it
• Went to IKEA, Harbor Freight, Lowe's, and Home Depot to return stuff I'm not using on my cabin and pick up deck hardware
• Finishing the first draft of my paper on stalking themes in popular music

That looks about as appealing as swamp ass.

As a former subway worker many years ago (the "recipe" hasnt changed) i can confirm that it is just tuna and mayo and i also am a fan of the tuna sub at subway.
