Once I made "Russian Tea Cookies" the ones rolled in powdered sugar, and brought some to my Russian co-workers and they were so grateful for the thought, but had never heard of such a thing.

Just drink vodka until you pass out. Saves money on the food, saves you from eating the food, and it's a more authentic experience

Syrniki (Russian pancakes) are good for breakfast. Can be made with farmers cheese or cottage cheese. I've made them both ways.
