Survived the severe weather we had on Friday and Saturday.

No damage from the large hail on Friday.

Race were canceled Saturday.

This year is flying by - someone mentioned yesterday that we are almost halfway to Halloween! Have three palm trees in our backyard that I want gone. That's not a small project apparently. Have a great day everyone!

An older cousin passed away. He had Alzheimer's and it progressed really rapidly. Very sad to see him go out like that. My memories of him when I was young are all good. He was a blast!

Heavy thunderstorms last night, overnight, and this morning. Been a very wet April. Supposed to clear out and cool off tonight. Waiting for a rain-free window so I can put gas in my car and stay dry.

Watched The 'Burbs last night with Benny. He was irritated that I made him watch a movie with me, and he wound up loving it. Think I'm going to introduce him to Highlander next. There can be... ONLY ONE!

Taking Benny to the dentist this afternoon for a routine cleaning. Fingers crossed he doesn't have any cavities. I'm tired of going to that place.

Well one it is over our price point that we want to spend. She's already flipped and totaled one.

Two, you are correct, however we have been scouring for months and that is the highest cost for a 2019 that I've seen.

I'm always pricing reliable, fuel-efficient sedans for that day Benny is working (or my family's land in Hardin County sells). Prices continue to rise. I barely found what I wanted under $10k today. A year ago, I was finding what I wanted for $8k to $8.5k. Two of the four new cars I've owned in my life were under $10k

Here's one in suburban STL with 105k miles on it. This was the first car that I think would be worth pursuing. This would make us a two Nissan family!



EDIT - No Corollas or Civics are available under my search limit, $12k.
