Cool and drizzly here on the mean streets of metro College Station this morning. Day trip to Houston to help my parents with something. Might listen to a little David Allen Coe whilst on the road.

Yea, this place could be a ghost town in 5 years.

Sunrise was at 6:12 AM this morning (long before I was awake). We had a low of 39F, which was no where near 1908's record low of 28F but well under the average of 50F. Nice having jacket weather this late in the season. No real need for a jacket though as I stayed in the car and had Benny buy my coffee.

Forecast to cloud over this afternoon and warm to 64F. The average is 71F with the record 90F being set in 1895 and tied in 1936. 1936 was a CRAZY WEATHER YEAR, BTW.

The sun will set at 8:00 PM this evening, the clouds should clear after midnight, and we're forecast to be 40F tomorrow morning. Terrific way to start May.

Oh, my MRI went well yesterday. Only had to lay still for 15 minutes, but that machine is LOUD. I found myself wondering what was making all of that noise.

I'm supposed to be contacted "soon," and they'll setup an online chat with my doctor where we discuss how to proceed.

EDIT - Need to have Benny clean up when he gets home from school. I've noticed a lot of fruit flies the past couple of days.

No Hot Pocket flies is a good thing.

Sucks not being able to really bend one of my knees (and put any weight on it).

But it's liberating to be able to tell him to clean and not have to help... a silver lining.

• Slept meh.
• Kind of frustrated that the cleaning folks for the rent house took half my cleaning supplies. I left it all over here on the counter and I'm missing at least 5-6 cleaning bottles, including what I needed today.
• New renters move in today/tomorrow.
• Fairly quiet day - not many meetings.
• Diet Coke from Whataburger. I'm quite sad as they had this "5 chicken bites and gravy" for $4 that I liked. Perfect amount of food and I like gravy and you can't order gravy on the app by itself. It's gone. Tried some chicken finger wrap and it was not good.
• Travel work tonight
• Maybe take kiddo over to the Sketchers store as she needs black non-slip shoes for her new job.
• I am loving the druriness of today.
