Beautiful Saturday in west GA/east AL. To help our friend daboman with ultra-easy to prepare recipes, today we feature Spanish-style garbanzo beans. Needed: olive oil, onion, garlic or garlic powder, crushed tomatoes, 1 can garbanzo beans.

  • Happy Saturday!
  • Slept pretty good. Would love to still be lounging but this work won't do itself!
  • Bagel and diet coke for bf.
  • Starting to work now. March and April were extremely slow (which isn't a bad thing). Booked a cruise last night and have to work on all the various components. Work on quotes.
  • Kiddo starts her job today. Orientation.
  • Banana Ball this afternoon/evening.
  • Oh and watch Aggie Softball BTHO OU on the tube at 12ish.

Benny Man is taking the SAT this morning. Whereas he more or less blew off the ACT, he studied pretty hard for the SAT. At least for the math part. Seems like he was always studying math when we talked. He likes math much more than verbal. Maybe he put time in for the verbal, and I just didn't see it...

40F this morning. Cloudless day in store with a high in the low 60s. I absolutely love this weather. Will definitely spend some time sitting on my balcony this afternoon.

My sister tells me our land in Hardin County might be sold by the end of this month. That would be outstanding for me, so I have my fingers crossed.

Looks like I am the only horrible parent that didn't get banana ball tickets. Got 9 donuts this morning at Krispie Cream for the price of 3.

Yes and no. They are entertainers first and foremost. Banana ball as a game is still an actual sport though and absolutely none of it is scripted. Unlike the Globetrotters. These dudes, all of which are around minor league level of skill or even higher in some cases, are all legitimately trying to win as hard as they can every game.
