Good morning my internet friends!

  • Slept good. I must have been passed smooth out when hubs got home from getting daughter from her 11PM work shift cause I didn't wake up til sometime during the night.
  • Up early to work. I wasn't able to make myself work last night as I was just exhausted.
  • I have all day (besides church) and all day tomorrow - so here's to being productive.
  • Drove to Whataburger to get a crisp 44oz Diet Coke.

Slept great and up for Mass. Got 3 hours sleep Friday and then drove straight home from Destin - 11 hours including steady rain from MS/LA line thru Houston, Stopped for 15 minutes in Biloxi to use $150 in free play at the casino. Turned it into $225 and was back in the road. So a great night sleep was appreciated! Wishing you all a blessed and great day! #ThunderUp

Praying for all of you. You shouldn't feel guilty praying for her death, you want her to be at peace and pain free. If that is death, then so be it.

Did my Sunday grocery shopping with Benny just now. Left my crutches in the car and walked the store myself. First time in six weeks I've been able to do that.

Walked dog, mowed, put down fertilizer in the back yard. Rain tonight should water it in. Worked for a couple of hours, will probably put in a few more tomorrow. Need to do some cleaning up in the front beds as well. Probably call someone to get rid of the poison ivy in the back, though - I'm mot deathly allergic, but I have enough of a reaction to not want to bother.

There are a couple of magnolias I know of here in Columbia, MO. I have guessed that they couldn't handle our winters, but they seem to be okay.

Tagged a piece of metal/debris on the beltway - turns out it didn't hit the rubber at all but spun up in the rear wheel, piercing the aluminum interior wheel

The way we "let people die" is cruel and I hate it. You give them atavan and morphine to keep them free from pain and asleep and starve them to death. Super cool, humanity.

I'm so sorry that you're just waiting around. It's not fair to anyone.

What would your way be?

In the past 3 1/2 years I've had 2 people who I was very close to go through hospice, including my mother, and I would not describe either situation as cruel in any sense of the word.

Sorry you're going thru this Ryan. Prayers for you and your family.
