In-app-only discriminates against people who want to be able to buy food without having to give a corporation our marketing information. I have cash money. Why can't I get the best price? Also, I'm far-sighted and fat-fingered. I *hate* using my phone. But it's mostly about not wanting to give companies my information.

I save like $1.75 on a Sonic drink every time I go in. I earn free drinks or food from other apps.

Now standing in a long line to save a buck heck no. I'm all about convenience. But I don't mind signing up for stuff.

It means you don't have to buy anything else to qualify for the deal.

Story. We picked up our son at DFW coming off his first submarine deployment. He was less than 48 hours off the boat and wired. I'm pretty sure he was drunk based on the following. Son, where ya wanna go to eat? Name it. Money is no object. His response: Jack in the Box tacos. Very well. Done. But we are going to someplace decent after that. Order. Don't order. We ended up at Pappadeux. Greatness.

I was a senior in HS and Taco Bell decided to do menu items with mini tacos, burritos, etc. and they were .$29, this was around 91/92…I do remember the Jack in the Box tacos for 4 for a $1…heck 2 for $.99 is still a good deal for what they are.
