Went to bed by 10:30pm, which is good for me

Pretty sure I didn't move all night

Wife has food poisoning. Somehow I slept thru all that. I offered to stay home today but she said she would call me if it gets worse

Don't eat the chili-rubbed salmon taco from La Bodega unless you want a violent expulsion

Skipped the 7am meeting since I was running late making sure she was ok

People need to be smarter today. They didn't have a great day yesterday

See what I can knock off the list today

Costco Colombian Supremo whole beans. Medium roast. Some people like Guatemalan or Costa Rican. I am sold on Colombian.

  • Slept horribly. Just laid there all night long but at least wasn't tossing and turning.
  • Crisp Diet Coke and Jimmy Dean sausage muffin thingys for breakfast
  • A couple of meetings today and at least one that got canceled.
  • Costco rotisserie chicken (thanks hubs for deboning) and leftover Gringos rice for lunch
  • Travel work tonight.

Beautiful sunny day today, and only reaching the upper 70s. I've had a lot of open windows days this June. Nice! Rain coming back tomorrow. We've had over 7" of rain in June and we had over 9" in May. I'll happily take it over heat though.

College baseball season ended last night. Am seriously considering cancelling Hulu until college football season starts. Outside of my local news (which I can get through an antenna) and Starz, I watching absolutely nothing on "linear tv." I can sign up for the Starz app for a couple of months while I'm without TV service. I do need to check with Benny and ask if he's currently binging anything on Hulu.

Benny had his crown fall out over the weekend, so we're going back to the dentist this morning. I feel like I'm there twice a month...

A great day begins at MFA BreakTime with a 24oz refill of their morning blend for $1.28 (after tax). I get two free cups a week, so I'm not having to refill the same cup too many times. Civilization at its finest!



EDIT - And note the cheery art on the side of the cup. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

Travel question for you - how likely is it that there are still balcony rooms available for Alaskan cruises for the last week in July? My niece just had something horrible happen and I need to visit Alaska or Hawaii this year and it's last minute but seems worth exploring.

Depending what cruise line. Princess and Holland probably sold out but I have an easy quick way to look. Norwgian is more likley and some of theirs visit Glacier Bay (which is recommended). Carnival and Royal maybe - but those are usually not who I book Alaska with unless client requests. You can message or email me and I can look.

I took the Norwegian Bliss and went into Glacier Bay. I can confirm it was worth it. They send national park rangers on board to give a talk about the park and sell merch.
