I did not want to get out of bed.

73 degrees in the Fort with rain forecasted to hit around 8 a.m.

Peddle something today.

Day trip for work to Dripping Springs. Got stung on my ankle by a yellow jacket yesterday at a picnic area off highway 6 between Marlin and Reagan. Must resist the urge to scratch that itch!

Mowed the backyard yesterday so I can hit the pool after work maybe.

Didn't sleep great. Dog to daycare, office day. Bunch of major work to do, not motivated for any of it.

Hump Day Zzzzz

• Why do summer colds suck so much more than winter ones?
• The Wife gets a ten day reprieve from nursing duties and is coming home today

Up at a regular time here in west Georgia/east Alabama on a beautiful summer day. Most important task of the morning was accomplished (feeding the cats their favorite canned food) and coffee made. cantelope, cottage cheese, croissant, dates and coffee for breakfast.
Because my good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and California are up to.

• Slept better than the night before so that is a win!
• Several meetings today. 8AM one ended about 40 minutes earlier.
• Follow-up with dr today from issue from last week but I suspect all is good as I feel back to normal.
• Mi Tortiella taco for breakfast
• I brought my lunch (chicken and rice) but forgot soy sauce. Not sure I can eat plain white rice and costco chicken without something on top lol.
• Hopefully SINGO tonight at Mas Fajitas.

Slept well until 4:30am and then woke up. Tossed and turned until 5:45am

At Express Care with wife. She is getting over food poisoning but might need some IV fluids

I'm as motivated as Claude!

Daycare was booked today so puppies had to stay home. They miss their friends

Hope wifey feels better!

She's interested in a plain toasted bagel with butter from Blue Baker so that's good. Gonna get some Zofran as a precaution.

Been looking at hotels in Branson. I think we're going to stay at the Clarion Inn. Get a 2 queen room with a balcony. Not sure what I'm going to do in Branson, but I've been wanting to take Benny to this zip-lining/tubing place for a couple of years. They have their own "Mount Aggie."
