Am rewatching the whole series in order again (have the CDs) and even 7 years later, that series gives me chills
what an amazing representation of our greatest generation, each actor is superb and it really puts you there.
the fact that "main characters" die at any time (obviously since war is that way) is so emotional and really makes you realize (or attempt to) how incredibly close these guys were and what losses then incurred on a daily basis.
the episode outside Foy is amazing, that scene when he runs in and out of the town through the German line and in the church a the end, amazine cinematograpy..
