The Line 6 sounds unreal for a $200 Amp. It actually blows the Marshall I traded for it out of the water IMO and gets plenty loud for my needs.

I want to go from a Spark Mini to something that is more traditional and takes pedals well.

My has expressed interest in me getting an amp kit and is building one together. Even the cheapest kit on StewMac is $850. I can get one all put together for way less than that. But the experience of the build would be part of it.
