Fan trailer was EXTREMELY well done, but it makes Walt look like a good guy. A sympathetic guy. Even a hero.

He is none of those things. He is a villain. And justice is coming.

Rewatched the last episode again today. The scene where Holly says mama, seeing him make the decision, then hold her tight and close his eyes as he savors a few last moments with his daughter is heartbreaking.

If its true that the writers didn't intend for Holly to say Momma, that was very good improvisation by Cranston to realize what he working with right there and go with it.

But he victimized the family to take all the blame.

Edit: Well, family minus 1. He's still not ALL bad.

Jane was a blackmailing, junkie ***** that was bringing Jesse down and probably would've ended up killing both of them within a year.

I'm with you, but I understand why. It's sort of Darth Vader syndrome - there's still good in him. He was going to give it all up to save Hank. He tried to exonerate Skyler. He made sure Holly would get back home. I think that trailer did a great job of spelling out why one can sympathize with him. It's also why I think the maligned "Fly" episode was still so good (which some quotes at the end of the trailer were from) when he talks about how he lived too long and what would have been the perfect time to die - that it got all screwed up, didn't know the right way to put it back together, and that you want your family to miss you when your gone, all points he'd passed and didn't see a way back.

agree Danny.

also agree that Jane died on her own after a drug OD. she did that to herself. Walt while he coulda maybe saved her, recognized she was bad news in the big picture of things. don't hate a man for showing some wisdom. i liked the Jane character as a viewer, but she was a beeetch to Walt.

She was sober and would not have died if it wasn't for Jesse/Walt

we can get into semantics over what caused her to go into convulsions or gagging or whatever that was..but fact of the matter is she did that sh** to herself.

It's amazing how people miss themes in this show.

Jane dying was her fault, but it was also Walt's fault. Earlier in that episode Skyler demonstrated how to put a blanket behind Holly's back to make sure she didn't choke if she spit up. Later Jane rolls over and chokes on her vomit. Gilligan basically hit you over the head with this.

The whole scene existed to show that Walt could've, and KNEW he could've saved Jane. It was an action in a long line of actions that showed Walt slowly breaking bad.

Did you guys know the title of the show is a reference to Walt's character changing throughout the show?

Consider this: entire show is about Walt's character changing into a bad guy. He is a chemistry teacher. Chemistry is about change. One could say that the show is about the character's chemical changes. Mind blown.

wild theory. Potential spoilers ahead if you haven't seen the upcoming teaser preview or read the synopsis:

The preview shows Saul telling Walt, "if they don't have you, they'll go after her." I assume this means someone is going after Skyler. The obvious answer would be that either the DEA or Jack's gang would be after her.

The synopsis says "events sets in motion long ago come to a conclusion."

What if the ones coming after her are Gus' Chilean connection? I have such a hard time believing they would just completely ignore this plot line in the final season. They could be coming back for revenge on Walt now that everyone knows who is responsible for Gus' death.

Completely wild theory that I do not expect to happen, but it's still fun to speculate.

Not sure if this has been said, but set your DVR if you want any old episodes. They are running the whole series this week, starting Wednesday.

Its interesting that they are selling the glassware. Even though they consider it a prop, some of the glassware would be illegal to own in texas without a permit.

Had a dream Walt Jr was torturing Walt with electric shock, and while he was electrocuting him he hit Walt with a hammer and Walt exploded and little eyeballs fell out of him.

It was weird.
