ya, i agree with the Ricin being for himself (Walt). i think he "settles all scores" finds a way to get money back to his fam, and dies in custody.

I think Walt is furious that his product is being reproduced and he isn't getting credit.

My theory (of several) is that his new motivation is to use the Ricin to poison a large batch of the blue math and get it distributed/sold. Painful deaths of customers=no more demand and hitler level of villainism.

I also want to put the possibility out there, just in case it's right, that he attempts to use the ricin to treat his cancer, and not necessarily as a suicide attempt.

But I'll admit that's pretty out there. Most people probably don't know about that aspect of ricin. I didn't either, until I saw it on reddit.

Plus, everyone all knows he's a kingpin. He's gotten credit for the blue meth. Walt's problem now is that he is being declined credit for Gray Matter, despite the fact that the other two creators explicitly and implicitly acknowledged to his face that he was responsible for their success. Now they're on Charlie Rose saying he had nothing to do with the company.

Pretty sure it would take a LOT more ricin to pull off something like that. What Walt has is good enough for 1 adult, from what I recall.

Ha! Wow I got called out. That particular post was a troll attempt by making the HUGE leap of comparing it to Dirt. I am man enough to admit my errors though.

I will eat crow because I was very skeptical about starting this series, not due to the quality of acting or writing, but because I have a high amount of hatred for meth. I think it's an absolutely horrible drug and couldn't imagine myself rooting for a main character that deals a drug like that. I finally started watching it last year and realized I didn't have to like or root for Walt to enjoy the ride. It's obviously a great show.

A better comparison would have been Breaking Bad to Weeds. I didnt have a problem enjoying Weeds and rooting for the characters cuz i have no problem with marijuana. Weeds crashed and burned after the second season though.

Funny that post got brought back up. The Internet never forgets! I was reading from the bottom of the page and saw the quote about Dirt and asked, 'Who is that, dewsh?' Before realizing it was me ha.

My God..can u imagine if he includes the ricin into the meth production?? Longshot and its not in Walts makeup..but that would be messed up.

Its truly sad how much unfulfilled potential Weeds failed to meet. Started so good..but I digress. ..

ACB, I wasn't calling you out. Just demonstrating how far we've come in 5+ years with this show. I doubt you were very much alone in being skeptical. That, and the comment about DIRT made me laugh.

I think it was in one of the Talking Bad's, Vince said that if used effectively, it might be enough to take out 3 or 4 people. Instead of ingestion, what about using it as an airborne agent?

And random observation, does anyone else think Mr. Vacuum Cleaner looks like a spitting image of Ted in 20 years?

I fully expect Todd to make it. He's a survivor and has no remorse, unlike Walt. Frankly, I think he ends up stealing the "Heisenberg persona"... well on his way at this point. He told Skylar how much he respects Walt in this last episode and I swear it's not the first time he's mentioned this. I could also see Todd killing some or all of his own gang. he didn't seem to like the crack about Lydias "wood chipper cooch" that uncle jack made. Todd makes a better Heisenberg than Heisenberg!

Another theory: Todd has the product purity up to Lydia's satisfaction now, so he makes his move on her thinking the time is right. She rejects his advances so coldly that Todd himself ( or uncle Jack) tie that loose end up instead of Walt. Todd is just sick and screwed up enough that this wouldn't surprise me.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but what is the motivation to keep Jesse around if Todd is now cooking at 90+%? I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that they've done more than one batch now (with Jesse cooking/mentoring Todd). Even if Todd wanted to keep him around, wouldn't the other Nazi's see Jesse as more risk than reward at this point?

Count me. I watched the first, maybe second episode, and said, "I'm not watching this crap."

It wasn't until the weekly "What's on my TIVO?" with Bob and Dan on the Ticket did I give it another shot. And that's just because they kept mentioning it was filmed in NM.

I love NM, so I started watching it on Netflix to see if I recognized any locations. I think I watched 3 seasons in a little over a week.

I thought Todd's primary motivation of getting Jesse to cook was to learn how to increase the quality & make it blue. How many cooks did it take for Jesse to get it right looking over Walt's shoulder?

Sorry if its been mentioned, but I don't think it has - Walt now drinks his scotch like Hank did (now that Hank is dead), neat, as opposed to on the rocks like he did after he killed Mike.

I thought it was cool how Walt was transported to New Hampshire in a big barrel, and when he came out the vacuum guy called him Mr Lambert. Kind of hammering home that Walter White died and got put in a barrel like all the other bodies, and now he's someone else.

Just a reminder for those interested, Conan's got the whole cast and Vince Gilligan on tonight.

I have been watching this show from Episode 1 and have enjoyed all of it. I'm not sure what lured me to the show but I remember the advertisements before it started and just thought it looked interesting.

For whatever reason, I am still pulling for Walt. I know I shouldn't be but I really don't know why. I think I can empathize with his reasoning that he is doing it all for his family. He got greedy and reckless and in the end I think it is about his ego. However, he still believes it is all for his children.

My prediction is this: He somehow finds out where his money is and finds a way to secure it. Maybe he gets Todd to let him know where it is and Todd agrees to help funnel the money to his family. Also, I think he'll find a way to get Mike's granddaughter some of the money and maybe some for Brock.

Probably at the same time he is able to slip the Ricin to Lydia (perhaps he meets with Todd and Lydia at the same time.)

Last, he lures the police into a gun battle with the Nazi's, Walt is there with his M60. I think the Nazi's are the only threat to Walt's family so he has to take them out. Todd won't be there because he and Todd have a deal and Walt tips him off. Jesse is Todd's cook and Todd becomes Heisenberg.

I can't really come up with anything else.

I really have no idea how it is all going down.
