I would be extremely disappointed if Walter's plans are ultimately foiled (or if he is killed) by Skyler. The epicness that is Walter White defeated by his depressed and overly-emotional wife would be worse than a Sopranos-eque ending IMO.

I could see it going down like Omar. Just a random killing chalked up to the game. Walt finally pisses off some random gang member/underlying who doens't want to let Walt talk his way out of it and just blasts him.

I think Walt has been able to get by this far due to people underestimating him.
At this point, I do not think that happens anymore.
I think Mike gets the Omar treatment though.

Anybody notice that Walt was wearing a wire in the flashforward from Episode 1? I'm still not sure if that's what it is, but given Gilligan's eye for detail, I doubt it's just a normal mike for the show. yeah I read that yesterday and didnt want to post it here in case people didn't want to read his theory. Tough to tell if that's a wire or not, but it would be an interesting way to finish the story.

Very interesting Walt Whitman find there. That may also implicate the Hank reveal as the "WW" in Gayle's notebook was a direct question to Walter that he responded to as "probably Walt Whitman".

In the past couple of seasons, one or two episodes before the finale is when **** really hits the fan. Crawl Space, Half Measures, and so on.

I understand why they split the season into 2, but man...I feel like I'm going to need closure after these next 2 episodes. I don't want to wait a whole year to see the rest.

Agree. This will be the most upset I have been about a show ending.

agree. I think it's ending at a perfect amount of episodes to finish the story. While sad I wont have BB to look forward to on Sunday nights in a year from now, it's good to go out while still fresh, and you hate to see a plot get stale after a while.
The series finale will be on the level of LOST for me. Just gonna sit back for the next few weeks and reflect on the series.
