Mike was a cop, a good guy in BHC. Atleast that's what I remember off the top of my head. He got shot by the bad guys on the stairs of the cheap hotel at the beginning of the movie.

Me too. As soon as I saw him walk into Jesse's apartment, I thought of Wiseguy. My dad and I used to watch that show every week.
