First of all, I wasn't "showing off who or what I know." Saying that an actor who hasn't appeared in the past three seasons won't be in the final seven episodes is NOT a spoiler (even though I DID preface it with a warning). FAR more spoiler-ish material has been discussed here ad nauseam, so I didn't think it was anything at all, comparatively. I just saw quite a few people hoping for something, and I wanted to essentially say "Don't get your hopes up." Thought I was helping to curb expectations a bit. But I guess not. My bad, and I apologize. I've deleted my post, and I would advise gigemags-99 to do the same with his quote.

To be fair TCTTS, Breaking Bad is the kind of show where the smallest things can come back in a major way later in the show, so in this case it could be considered a spoiler.

I missed the tctts post but it's obvious what he said looking at the context of the thread even with the edits.

Someone should start a new thread where potential spoilers can be discussed freely without all the emo *****ing. I enjoy the speculation and I don't like scouring the Internet for that stuff - I like when others do the research for me so I can read it here.

Speculating is fine. Posting something you KNOW to be true (or not true) is not. I'm not really upset with what was posted here because until someone else posted it I wasn't even considering that scenario. But once I read it I started thinking about that as a possible end point until it was ruined by someone with actual knowledge of the situation. In the end it's not a big spoiler. I think people are so uptight about this show being spoiled because it is such a great show and there are many different ways it can end that any spoiler no matter how small is going to upset others.

Did tctts claim insider knowledge or did he just read the imdb cast pages for the rest of the season like any of us could?

Either way I'd be happy to read that stuff on another thread. Would be fun to see which people who claim to have insider knowledge of what happens turn out to be completely wrong.

It wasn't a major spoiler, it was based off speculation on the thread and he just said "that won't happen because I know due to xxxxx"

Ha, had no idea one little post would result in this. For YEARS, spoilers have been discussed in nearly every TV show and movie thread on this board, and as long as they've come with spoiler warnings/tags, no one has ever thought twice. I do the same in this thread, for something I wouldn't even consider a spoiler, and suddenly everyone loses their minds. I definitely underestimated the mania surrounding this show, and again, I apologize.

Will do. Definitely planning on it for these last eight. I posted a link a couple days ago, on the previous page, that blew my mind, that I figured would spur more conversation than it did (which, to say, was none). In general, shows like this and Lost - shows that have so many tiny moving parts and callbacks and symbolism - can be somewhat overwhelming to keep up with, as far as the discussion goes, even though I read every review and breakdown I can. I just know I'll get sucked down the rabbit hole if I start commenting, so I tend to stay away. But I'll definitely join in over the next few weeks.
