I've watched the first three episodes and it has been absolutely fantastic. It's a British drama series much like the twilight zone, in that each episode is its own story with its own characters, with a dark, satirical take on technology and modern society. So far the acting and story lines have been exceptional. Currently there are only 2 season with 3 episodes each, and each episode is an hour long.

I highly recommend it for those who would like an entertaining show that they could burn through in a day or two.

Re-wached a couple of episodes recently.

This is one of the best shows of the past decade.

Extremely well done.

Almost every episode mind****s you for a couple days.

What about their choose your own adventure movie, was that a one and done?

The first episode I watched was the one with Jesse Plemons… didn't know what the show was at all and assumed I was starting with s1e1. I was so damn confused as to what I was watching.

What's good about this show is that each episode is a stand alone episode.

There's no recurring characters, only recurring themes.

One of those shows you can watch an episode and watch one 6-months from now and there nothing to remember or stay up to speed on.

If you trying to decide what to watch, just pick an episode out of any season or look at a list of highest rated.

I'm sure another season will come at some point. The shows been steadily dropping in quality since Netflix took it over though. There are some good "new" ones like Nosedive comes to mind, but those first few BBC seasons are truly incredible TV.

Reminds me - perfect time to fire up black mirrors White Christmas which really should've been a standalone movie. Another fun fact - the show was still British at the time and Jon Hamm was the first American brought in as a lead for the show. Such a great episode.

Loved this show. Always felt like it had a very The Twilight Zone feel about it - kind of a modern version of that series.

Tough to pick a favorite but Nosedive and Metalhead are up there.

Absolutely do not watch the episode, "Shut up and Dance" That one is a seriously ****ed up.

Absolutely watch "Metalhead" That one is badass.

Nosedive is the best one and a frightening look into what we may become (or are becoming)

Just watched Nosedive.

Episode was made in 2016.

Hits hard with the depiction of a social credit score system.

You right. We clearly headed in that direction.

When the credit score and social credit score merge, I'd imagine **** is gonna get that crazy.

But the reality is, we already there.

Black Museum is a good episode, but it's messed up. White Bear is also a good episode (less messed up than Black Museum, but still messed up). The Waldo Moment is good (not messed up and it has to do with politics).

The beauty of Black Mirror is that different people like different episodes. Some are shocking. Some are dystopian. Some are full of plot twists. But all provoke deep thinking and stick with you.

Exactly. San Junipero is an excellent story and a bit of a departure from alot of Black Mirror expectations.

I definitely recommend Severance for anybody looking to scratch that Black Mirror itch. Similar sort of sci-fi vibe in my opinion

Love Sex and Robots on netflix has been a pretty good little replacement for Black Mirror for me, some visually stunning episodes and some very intriguing stories.

This is my favorite episode. Watched it several times. Nosedive and San Junipero are also great.

The Christmas one with Jon Hamm is my favorite.

Yeah, that's a good one, but the ending is really messed up.

Be right back is soul crushing and absolutely depressing

Crocodile is a good episode.

Watched the one with Miley Cyrus the other day.

AI themed episode, very well done.

A common thread that runs through most episodes is the concept of Elon's nuralink. The fact that they are working on stuff like this now is a real mind****.

Electric Dreams on Prime has some good stuff as well. Based on short stories by Philip K. Dick.

Watched earlier. Had me yelling '**** that at my tv.

Now im tryna sleep thinking about one of those robots crouched outside my gd door.

Episode was disturbing in an uncanny valley sort of way.

But there is a season six in the works though… I think

I've seen Aaron Paul's name out there as part of the cast. But don't know how much cred that rumor has.

He has a brief voice clip at the end of USS Callister, but that's an old episode. Variety says he'll be in season six.

I really wish I would have started someone random, not episode 1

I absolutely love this series.
Start with Crocodile and Man on Fire (being in the military, this one really brings up some very thought provoking questions) Shut and Dance is also another one of my favorites.
