Admittedly I haven't watched much wrestling in the last few years but scrolled through Smackdown so far tonight. In the first 2.5 hours there's only been five matches. There's 15 minutes left in the show and they are promoting the funeral of the Gingerbread Man.
No wonder they are firing talent. The talent never gets in front of an audience in the ring. They don't do house shows anymore. Hardly anyone gets any airtime other than stupid promo segments.
Why does anyone pay money to go see these shows in person? They don't get to see any wrestling.
Maybe this show is different because it's the lead up to the PLE but this is brutal. I feel bad for everyone there. These shows could be cut down to 2 hours or 1.5 hours and no one would know the difference.
