Tilda Swinton was great in this

great movie. total bioshock.

Just saw this tonight. Great film, took me by surprise.

I'm unsure how I feel about the ending. So they see that life has returned to Earth...okay? They're still two kids, presumably the only living people left on the planet. Unless the implication is that more people survived in the crash, it's hard to feel "good" about their impending death.

I didn't think they were the only two survivors. Surely, quite a few people survived.

The one thing I didn't get was who was the white guy in the suit who kept fighting and killing everyone? I didn't understand who he was and who he was fighting for, or why he was trying to kill everyone. Also, how did he seemingly "come back to life" and begin fighting again?

I really enjoyed the movie overall, even though it is true you have to look past a few plot holes.

Saw this movie based on this thread. I'm sorry, but this was terrible. The plot holes were so obvious and frequent I got dizzy rolling my eyes so much. My wife thinks this was the worst movie she ever saw.

Finally got around to watching this. I actually enjoyed it, however maybe flashbacks earlier on from Evan's character regarding his first few months on the train would've definitely helped.

I thought Snowpiercer was probably the worst movie I've seen in about 5-7 years... my wife and I snuggled in to watch this film and within 10 minutes were looking at each other wondering if this movie was real, and how much was spent in the making... just bad...

Bad acting, bad fighting, bad premise, bad... well just about everything... haha.

I keep seeing all the thumbs ups on this thread and wondering if you guys are giving this the Sharknado treatment? (it's so bad it's good?)...

Anyways, count me in the "thought this was Gosh awful" and would have walked out in the theater most likely...

(2nd worst movie - Hurt Locker... anyone who served in the military in Iraq who saw Hurt Locker probably chuckled their way through all the inaccuracies and "that would never happen" moments)

Yeah this was not a sharknado treatment at least for me

Saw this a while back and thought it was so so. Interesting concept but a bit two one-dimensional and way too many plot holes and unrealistic assumptions.

Favorite part of the movie was the scenes in the classroom train. Creepy as Hell at times....

I want the series to start at the end of the movie. Make it happen!

Is the series supposed to follow the comic more or basically just another telling of the movie's events?

Ok just watched this for the first time. There was one scene were the door guy was explaining why he thought they could live outside, and then he trails off and says never mind, and then they never come back to it. Does anyone know what that was about?

I actually watched this for the first time yesterday ironically! Had been on my list a while.

Anyways, I think what that was in reference to was that the guy had seen life outside of the train. Possibly in the same form that we see at the end, a polar bear. He trailed off because he didn't want to get his hopes up so high and be let down I think. It was right after he was talking about the plane and I think the next thing he was going to mention was seeing life.

Thanks. That makes sense. Other than the fact that if it was so cold that people literally froze 17 seconds after leaving the train that many years ago, that all the polar bears would likely have died too. But I could suspend the disbelief for the purpose of the movie.

It was good and stupid at the same time.

Season Finale was on last night if anyone watched it.

I honestly thought they would show the back door of the train open up and boom.. black screen.. and we'd never see who it was on the other side. And then they did a "coming up on Season 2" montage and they threw a lot out there. No teasers so that made me happy. I plan on watching Season 2.
Still dont think we are done with the others that got disconnected.
