Commando is really good. It's about a father whose daughter is kidnapped as part of an extortion plot and his race against time to rescue her while avoiding the extortion demands. It's a real nail biter.

It was nominated for Best Picture back in the 90's, although it had the unfortunate problem of being caught in Titanic's wake.

I just looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes, and it has a 97% from top critics (99% from all critics), and 94% from audiences.

It's just funny because when I think about top movies of the 90s, it doesn't even come to mind. I need to watch it again. Spacey and DeVito's dynamic was awesome. Bassinger was greatness, too.

And I haven't even talked about this guy snapping a chair

No love for Silence of the Lambs?

In my opinion one of the best thriller suspense movies out there. Red Dragon was intense as well.

I was actually going to mention Silence of the Lambs. If you cross thrillers with the horror/scary movie genre you get some great ones. Same thing with Sci Fi thrillers such as Blade Runner and Alien.

I saw this for the first time last year. I immediately ordered it on Blu-Ray and I almost never buy movies anymore... It's an incredible film.

Was out near our lake house and stumbled in a dollar general for some supplies. Movie section is always awful but those with us wanted something to watch at the lake that night.

Every single thing in the bin was terrible. Then I found one of those 5 film collection bundles...

North by Northwest
Lethal weapon
The fugitive
Shawhank redemption
LA Confidential.

$7.99 for the lot. I know they aren't Blu-ray, but for "lake house movies" I couldn't have found a better deal.

Big fan of 'Reptile' on Netflix, with Del Toro and Timberlake.

'The Little Things' with Denzel and Malek is underrated.

'Prisoners' might be the most underrated film of the century.

Coherence is solid, but it's almost a complete ripoff of a horror film called "Triangle", which came years before it.
