I'm 05. Didn't get a cell phone til Junior year at A&M.
Very few people in high school had cell phones. Mostly just the drug dealers, but most of them just had pagers.

You are. Millennial is typically defined as class of 03 to 17. Some go as early as 2000.
But really, millennial is kind of a poor descriptor. I think there's a real break around class of 12-14 which is when youth electronics went from gaming systems for some to constant connectivity for everyone. I'm a millennial myself (from before the break point), but it's funny when millennials shake their fists in the mirror.
I'm 05 and I got a phone between my Sophmore and Junior year in High School, but it was just a phone, didn't do anything but make calls. I think I had a beeper before that. I had my license at 15 though, lived pretty far out of town, ran a lawn business and carpooled friends and my brother to school.TheEyeGuy said:I'm an 05er. Class of 05 here. Didn't have a cell phone until sophomore or junior year at A&M. A couple people had them in high school but it was just a handful, meeting at the cool side side of Sonic was our group text to see what was going on.
