There hasn't been a Shameless thread for a long time around here.

The show hasn't died yet?

So far not very good, I guess they have ran out of storylines. First 5 or 6 season I loved it. Only still watching because I have for so long. Honestly frank may be the shows last chance to survive any longer.

Same. It's not great but it's still enjoyable to me.

Emmy Rossum is gone at the end of this season. I wonder if there will be a season 10?

Heard that news yesterday. Bummer. She "makes" the show

bump for the recent episode. anyone else catch it yet?

Not as great as the past, but still pretty good and worth the time.

I watched with this show from the beginning, but the fall season finally lost me.

Debbie needs to be smacked in her self righteous face.

As much as I like this show, they need to wrap it up. 9 seasons is a lot and I feel like shows always get crappy when they go on for longer than that.

Uh, they're in prison. Ian won't be on the show anymore so I think we can safely assume the same for Mickey.

(I'm sure you meant Ian and not Liam.)

Yeah, the Gay Jesus actor left the show, so that twist was kind of a closure move for that character. With Emmy Rossum leaving next, I'm not sure what the point of moving forward will be. I'm thining we get either a cancellation after this season or maybe a one last Gallagher hurrah season 10.

I haven't started watching the new episodes and am probably done with it.

What did you hate about it?

Direction of the show. Writers making you hate fiona. Lips chick being unrealistically unavailable to discuss their "news".

Seems they are taking the fun out of the show and its much darker show now. 3 episodes left so I'll see where it goes..

I don't hate Fiona. I feel bad for her. And based off what we know about how Lip's GF has been emotionally cut off since her mom died her reaction is pretty expected IMO. I'm not saying the episode was great but I think it was far from awful.

I should rephrase. It wasnt a bad episode...i just dont like path its heading down. Its a downer show for me right now and hope they change the direction.

I don't miss Ian and that ridiculous storyline at all.
I like what they're doing with fiona and curious to see how her character arc ends. She's always best when she's unraveling.
Debbie is my least favorite on the show- the actress and the character just drive me insane.
Frank and Mikey / Hobo Loko was classic stupid fun.

I hate that there's only one episode left. At least last week they answered several questions I'd had. Frank used his Ingrid money to buy some drugs to flip for more money, Liam's absence was addressed in a hilarious way, and Fiona's involvement in the nursing home development was finally brought back. My only problem with that is that it seemed like she forgot she still had her stake. Maybe she just thought the whole project was dead. Even still she had her share in the property.

There's another season coming. This is just the last episode with Fiona in it

You are probably right.

Put a cork in it. That was a fitting ending to the series. You can just walk away. Always better to leave the party early than late.

Would like that ending to be the end as well. Brought closure to everyone
