i think there were scenes that were supposed to be simulated dark but they left it light enough for the audience to follow the action

I saw that the previous seasons, but didn't see that in any of his fights with Bullseye and definitely not when he fought Kingpin. The lights were clearly lit in those scenes.

I knew i recognized Poindexter...he was in Generation Kill, was the guy that was rapping a lot in scenes.

Finished last night. Enjoyed it. Agree with FL_Ag1998's assessment.

I'm a big fan of Daredevil and read a few of his comics. Not too familiar with Bullseye though. Anyone know how he compares to how they portrayed him?

I know he has a baseball background, and he's supposed to be a psychopath. Pretty sure he can go toe to toe with Daredevil, although I agree that in this season, they didn't do enough to establish that he would be able to beat Matt like he did, even in the suit.

Thought his throwing ability was cool. Kind of subtle and not over the top, while still being really impressive.

I wasn't a fan of DD as a kid (well aside from Electra hubba hubba) as a child but it is clearly the best series of the Netflix shows. Much like JJ season 1 I think what makes DD shine is the bad guys. Fisk is just phenomanal and Dex was excellent as well. My wife is not a Marvel fan but she liked DD season 1, lost interest in 2, and I think she will enjoy DD3.

Just great acting. I thought Karen was ok. I think her scenes were just not as good because everyone else is so strong. If Karen was in Luke Cage or Ironfist she would elevate every scene (IMO).

This show is far and away the best done super hero series. I'm really ticked it's going away. Built tension and developed characters amazingly well.

I didn't see it in the thread but the long shot at the prison was spectacular. Gave me some True Detective season 1 vibes.

I really hope the cancellation gets re-thought. The response seems to be overwhelmingly against it even among casual Netflixers.

I don't think Netflix wants to cancel it. This is a fallout of Disney yanking all things Marvel to their streaming service.

Not sure what that has to do with it. Disney will not want a rival streaming service using their own products (Marvel Universe) to compete for viewers.

Could/would they put it on Hulu? They have a 60% stake in that, post merger with Fox

Feel like they should just use him for Daredevil in the movies, if they ever want to put him in a Spiderman or something.

Almost a month later, I just finished the last episode of the third season. Season 3 is probably the best season of television that I've ever season. Vincent was amazing playing Fisk . He stole every scene. It sucks knowing it was canceled on Netflix but it's understatable with Disney Plus. Knowing that Daredevil showed up in NWH and Fisk in Hawkeye, I'm really looking forward to what's next with the characters. For those who have seen most of the Netlfix Marvel series, which one should I watch next?

NOT Iron Fist, that's for damn sure. And not Luke Cage. First season of Jessica Jones is fine, and I think the Punisher was OK, if not a little disappointing. Daredevil appears in it, so there's that.

But I repeat, not Iron Fist.

Season 2 of Iron Fist was better than the horrible first season

Punisher is in Daredevil S2 - Daredevil is not in Punisher.

DD 1-3 is good
JJ 1 is good
Luke Cage had a better 2nd than 1st IMO
Defenders is alright
Iron Fist S2 is decent, S1 is hot dog****
Punisher 1 and 2 are decent

Problem is the shows vary based on season.

Punisher season one is still solid, season two is very meh. He is the best character after Daredevil though.

Defenders is actually fairly fun but just ok.

Jessica Jones season one is great, rest sucks.

Iron fist is meh.

Luke Cage is god awful.

Luke Cage was great till they decided to kill off a future 2x Oscar winner in the middle of the season and replace him with a cheesy one.

The first half of Luke Cage was great.

Luke Cage, the show, sucked the whole time. He was good in season 1 of Jessica Jones though.

I disagree that the first half of LC S1 was great. It tries real hard to be the Wire but it mostly just spins it's wheels - lots of "this is my city" posturing and threatening and so on. But nothing really happens.

I really like the 4th episode where you see Cage's origin though.

Ah, thanks. Shows just how little of an impression most of these shows left on me. Daredevil great....the rest......from extremely forgettable to just plain trash.
