Searched but didn't see a topic on this show. It's set at Pine Gap, a joint US/Australian high tech listening station. Premise is a combination who done it spy/mole situation wrapped in the rivalry between the American operatives and their Aussie counterparts.

I'm halfway through the 6 episodes and it's pretty well done to this point. Anyone else watching it?

Reporting back after completion as instructed. It ended up being decent but lacked a bit of oomph at the end. Think it got bogged down a bit in some of the character's personal interactions. It's a good premise; hopefully if there is a second season it finds its legs.

Yeah. Since it's only 6 episodes it's worth the time.

I'm on ep 3 or 4 (i think). I like it enough to keep watching.

Yeah I am through 4 episodes and like it.
It's not going to win any emmys, but relatively unique, decent plot. Think some of the reviews were a bit harsh.

Wife and I just started watching it a few days ago. 3 episodes into it now, it's interesting.

We live in Australia so for us, it's funny to watch a lot of the actors using Australian word choices while putting on American accents. Apart from relationship issues, we've got Australia v. US story lines, China is a player, and then you've got Aboriginal land rights in the background too. I'll be interested to see where it winds up.

One thing I will say, this is not a series you can binge watch. There a lots of moving parts and each episode needs some time to breathe before you jump in to the next one.

Also, for whatever it's worth amongst the Aussie - US conspiracy crowd, "Pine Gap" has been a bone of contention for decades.

Midnight Oil sang about it on "Power and the Passion" way back in 1982. Also, promoting the theory that the US CIA worked with the Brits to have the Australian PM Gough Whitlam booted out of office.
