At #CinemaCon: First teaser for #TheSocialReckoning looks good, and the cast is stacked. Mikey Madison plays a Facebook whistleblower who goes to Jeremy Allen White, a journalist. Jeremy Strong’s Zuckerberg is scary good - I expect awards consideration based on that teaser alone.

I want to see this trailer. When is it releasing to the peons?

The Social Network released on October 1, 2010.

June 28, 2010 = the first teaser (no footage, online only)

July 16, 2010 = the first trailer

The Social Reckoning releases on October 9, 2026.

If they follow roughly the same schedule as the first movie, this being a Sony movie, Sony has Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026, which would obviously make for a big, splashy trailer release.

That said, late July feels... super late for a first trailer, so who knows. Maybe we get something in June?

Speaking of, this being as good of a reason as any to post it, one of the greatest, most influential trailers of all time...
